SKIAREA SALES CONDITIONS


1. Funivie Madonna di Campiglio S.p.A., Funivie Folgarida Marilleva S.p.A. and Funivie Pinzolo S.p.A. are the license holders that provide an integrated lift system (at least two) in addition to the slopes in each single ski area for the public’s use:
MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO
• Gondola lifts: Grostè 1st and 2nd sections – Spinale – Pradalago – 5 Laghi.
• Chairlifts: Patascoss – Grostè - Rododendro – Fortini – Genziana – Zeledria Boch - Nube d’Oro.
• Chairlifts: Miramonti – Pancugolo - Vagliana - Nube d’Argento - Spinale.
• Surface lift: Larici
FOLGARIDA MARILLEVA
• Gondola lifts: Folgarida, Belvedere, Marilleva 900, Albarè, Panciana, Daolasa 1 and Daolasa 2.
• Chairlifts: Spolverino, Orso Bruno, Sghirlat, Brenzi, Vigo, Malghette, Bamby, Ometto, Marilleva, Doss della Pesa, Mastellina, Bassetta and Ottava.
• Surface lifts: Malghet Aut 1, Malghet Aut 2, Casina, Biancaneve and Doss della Pesa.
PINZOLO
• Gondola lifts: Pinzolo-Prà Rodont, Tulot-Malga Cioca, Plaza-Puza dai Fò, Plaza-Colarin, Colarin-Patascoss.
• Chairlifts: Prà Rodont-Doss del Sabion, Grual, Fossadei, Cioca 1 e 2, Grual-Monte Grual, Puza dai Fò-Monte Grual
• Surface lifts: Fiocco di neve, Campo Primi Passi

2. The opening of lifts and slopes is established by Management and the cost of a ski pass is not in direct relation to the number of lifts or slopes open to the public, but rather entitles the passholder to ski with at least two open facilities. The opening of all lift facilities nor the usability of all ski slopes is not in any way guaranteed.

3. In any case, the three lift companies are not responsible and will not provide any type of refund (complete or partial) nor will they substitute any type of ski pass should unpredictable events beyond their control occur (including but not limited to excessive wind, lack of snow, a sudden unpredictable technical problem, a sudden and unannounced electrical power failure), or competitive events or training sessions cause a partial or total closure of the lift facilities or certain ski slopes. The lift companies are also not responsible and will not provide refunds and/or compensation to skiers who incur expenses to return to their home address or departure point due to the closure of lift facilities during scheduled times announced at the departure stations or in advance, for reasons of force majeure.

4. In case of accidents that occur on the slopes that also cause injuries that are documented by the Slope Rescue Unit personnel, subscribers of the “AIG” or “ITASACTIVE” insurance policy (which can be purchased when ski passes are issued), can receive a partial refund on multiple-day ski passes that have been insured for at least 3 days. Please note that there will be no refund for ski passes that are not insured with an “AIG” or “ITASACTIVE” insurance policy. Those accompanying the injured party, even if insured, are not entitled to any refund. Furthermore, no refund of any kind will be provided if, due to illness or other personal causes, the partial use of a ski pass is determined. Customers must carefully read all the details concerning the insurance policy that are published on www.ski.it or available at the ticket offices.

5. Passengers must buy a ticket corresponding to his/her use of the facilities at the following ticket offices:

6. At the moment in which customers collect their ski passes or tickets, they must check that the ski passes or tickets issued at the ticket office correspond to their specific requests. Except for the conditions stated in article 4, in no other circumstance will a ski pass be refunded or replaced once the first access to the lift has been registered.

7. The purchase and consequent possession of a ticket or transport document implies the knowledge and complete acceptance of the rules of transport and terms of sale described below and displayed at the ticket offices.

8. Passengers must follow all applicable rules of transport that applies to them (displayed at all lift departure stations) and they must also observe the regulations issued by the competent authorities for passengers’ security and correct transportation. Passengers must also follow all the special instructions that the lift facility operators may provide during certain situations or circumstances in order to prevent any accidents.


9. For everyone’s safety, all skiers are kindly invited to observe and respect all signs and signage placed throughout the ski area and on the lifts. The difficulty level of each ski slope, that must be considered an approximate rating, can be found on the info boards at the base station of the lifts, on the ski maps available at all ticket offices that are open, as well as on the coloured markers along the sides of all slopes. Skiers are required to evaluate their own personal skill level, before starting to descend down a slope, in order to ensure their own personal safety and the safety of others. For safety reasons, it is forbidden to remain on, use or descend along a slope after lift closure time or where specific signs indicate that the slope is closed. If a violation of Art. 30 ter “Skiers Conduct” (L.P. 7/87) occurs, the lift company has the right to confiscate the ski pass and/or the skier must pay an administrative fine issued by the local law enforcement agency.


10. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult to ride on a chairlift. Children taller than 1.25 m are not subject to age verification in order to ride the lifts (D.M. 8 March 1999).


11. Clients presenting a certified document, stating an invalidity rating of 50% or more, or an invalidity rating between 20% and 49%, at the time of purchase are entitled to a 50% or 25% price reduction (according to the invalidity rating) on the full list price of an hourly Madonna di Campiglio, Folgarida Marilleva, Pinzolo lift pass and on a consecutive 1 to 14-day Madonna di Campiglio, Folgarida Marilleva, Folgarida Marilleva Pejo with 2 days in the Skiarea, Pinzolo, Skiarea Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta lift pass and on single cable car lift passes.


12. Discounted Senior, Super Senior, Junior and Child ski passes are issued only if valid ID, stating date of birth, is personally presented by the person receiving the discount.


13. A ski pass is a personal document and it is not transferable (except for Fidelity and point system ski passes). Any misuse of the ski pass, in particular, transferring a ski pass to third parties, will result in the immediate confiscation and cancellation. Furthermore, the lift company may take civil and penal actions against the offender.


14. Multi-day ski passes valid for 9 days or more are only issued with a photograph, while a validity of 3 to 8 days only features a male/female distinction. Control systems, that include Photo Compare technology, are used to check all types of ski passes (installed on the turnstiles that provide lift access) by identifying the user’s image. 15. All lost ski passes, with the exception of hourly passes, point system passes and one way or return tickets, will be reissued at the ticket office only if the photo of his/her ski pass is presented by the passholder, which must clearly show the identification code “NA” (indicated on the front of the ski pass). The cost of deactivating, blocking and reissuing a lost ski pass is € 10.00. (This amount will not be refunded if the original ski pass is found).


16. Superskirama annual and season passes automatically include a 5-day validity in the “Dolomiti Superski” ski area when they are issued without having to request single day lift passes. Any type of violation concerning the proper use of an annual or season ski pass will, in addition to being immediately confiscated and blocked, also cancel the right to benefit from any unused days in the “Dolomiti Superski” ski area. In the event of the loss of an annual or seasonal Superskirama ski pass on the slopes of the “Dolomiti Superski” ski area, the latter, UNABLE to verify the original purchase of the lost ski pass, will not issue any replacement passes for the remaining days in the “Dolomiti Superski” ski area. Any day tickets purchased because of the loss of a seasonal or annual Superskirama ski pass within the “Dolomiti Superski” ski area, will not subsequently be refunded.


17. Ski passes are issued and sold on a magnetic Key-Card with a € 5,00/each deposit. The same deposit amount will be refunded only when the Key-Card is returned in good conditions.


18. Ski passes or lift passes (Key-card and ID card) must always be shown if requested by the lift operators, who have the right to verify its validity and legitimacy of the user.


19. A ski pass, which is both a transport document and a fiscal receipt (D.M. 30.06.1992), must be kept for the entire duration of the transport. If an invoice is needed, it must be requested before passes are issued.


20. Ticket offices accept cash payments (in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in force), major credit cards and debit cards. Furthermore, the lift company Management also accepts bank transfers, which must be received and confirmed by the Administration Office before ski passes are issued.


21. Ski passes issued upon presentation of an official voucher will be issued exclusively according to the type of ski pass stated in the voucher and cannot be changed in any manner, not even before ski passes are issued.


22. “Ski Area Performance” is only available for the lifts belonging to the Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo lift companies: at www.ski.it it is possible to find all the details of your ski performance. This service is linked to your ski pass number. Identification data of the passholder will not be required. Data will be processed using manual, computerised or online tools, with organisational procedures and logics that are strictly related to the above-indicated purposes. Only the employees in charge of updating the Ski Area Performance service will have access to your data. Data will not be disclosed to third parties and will not be published. You can contact our Privacy Service to receive information concerning your data in order to add, modify or cancel details in case of a law violation, or you can object to the processing of your personal data and exercise all other rights provided by Art. 15 et seq. of the General Data Protection Privacy Policy (UE Regulation 679/2016). At any moment, you have the right to revoke your agreement to the above-mentioned newsletter.


23. The price of a multi-day pass that includes different daily rates (ex. High Season, Low Season, Christmas – New Year) is calculated based on the rate of the period in which the majority of days of the requested ski pass correspond to. If there is an equal number of days in different rate brackets, the highest rate will be applied.


24. The price of the transport document includes the right to transport skis, a snowboard and a small baggage of which the overall weight does not exceed 10 kg (provided that it does not prevent a safe and easy climb onto the transportation vehicles or does not affect the safety of the operation of the lifts therefore transportation of all of the above remains at the absolute discretion of the lift staff on duty). Snow scoots can only be transported on cable cars belonging to the Madonna di Campiglio and Folgarida Marilleva lift companies (therefore it is not allowed to transport snow scoots on chairlifts, surface lifts or all other lifts that require passholders to be wearing their skis.


25. The transportation of mountain bikes is only allowed during the summer season. The Pinzolo and Folgarida Marilleva Bike Parks are open during the summer season. It is forbidden to ride on the Bike Park tracks during the winter season.


26. Dogs must wear a muzzle and be kept on a leash. They can only be transported on cable cars and on the Prà Rodont – Doss del Sabbion chairlift in a special cage.


27. All tickets, including single one-way tickets and return tickets, expire when the corresponding summer or winter season ends. All prices in the price list include VAT.


28. In the event of discrepancies between the English and Italian version of the general sales conditions, the Italian version of this document shall always prevail.


INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA (EU Regulation 679/2016): personal data shall be processed in compliance with the aforementioned law.
